Anahuac National Wildlife Preserve 1/3/17
There was a warm day last week where the temps soared into the seventies. During times like that Sally likes to watch birds and I like to watch Sally watch birds. So, we decided to start the new year by doing something we had already done twice fairly recently. We went to Anahuac National Wildlife preserve. The place is always loaded with birds and sometimes more. This time we saw a nutria rat, two gators, and the head of a bobcat as well as a bunch of water birds. The site is letting me make a gallery today but it's pretty slow.
If you would care to see the last trip, go here: http://www.grangerlandrfd.com/anahuac-birds-8116.html
If you click on a picture it will enlarge. When it does, if you hover you will get an arrow to go to the next (or previous) picture. It will automatically be enlarged as well and I'm reasonably satisfied with the pictures. If you hover, you will see the caption but I only captioned a few.
Oh well, I hope you get at least a sliver of enjoyment from the pictures. We did.
Enjoy!
